influence the milking performance and the health of the animal.

The first criterion is related to equipment. The sleeves must fit the equipment provided. If you know the type of manifold, bushing, manifold cleaner, jet device, you also know the sleeve options you can choose. You must also consider the average size of the udder of the animals in the herd.

The DeLaval range includes short, long, thin or thick udder sleeves,

 but the sizes vary and so the selection will be a compromise
